Racing to resume…

Currently going through some technical updating so blogging is postponed for a day or so. In the meantime I’m posting an image from the Redlands Bicycle Classic that my family and I attended this past weekend. Come back soon for the latest!

Theresa - Very cool, my parents used to be runners at first and then they became triathletes. I've always been kinda glad they skipped just the plain ol bike races because the start of the races scare me to death! All those bikes clustered together and we all know how wobbly some of us can be when we take off on our bikes. I've seen a lot of bike crashes on T.V. too in these kinds of races. So why did you and your family attend this? A friend or family member in it? Theresa :-) P.S. You've changed something about your website and I've not quite figured it out, but I think it's the font? Tryin to get used to it. :-)

admin - Thanks guys! We go to this event annually, usually all we have to do is go outside our door to see it but you know, I'm not at that location these days. Hard to believe but I used to be an avid cyclist. Never raced but rode a lot of miles. I did however do the Rosarita to Ensenada ride twice– 900'climb, I've seen some major accidents there. Soon I'll post the video I took... it's cool, it's as if I was right in the middle of the racers. Actually I was at a corner videoing and at one point about 10 feet behind me an accident occurred... thank God it didn't happen right where I was or I might have been in the midst of it since I was shooting right at the curb. You think cycling is dangerous haha. BTW, yes blog is going through some changes right now but I'm still doing the green as soon as I figure it out!

Theresa - :-) That's cool that you used to cycle! The longest trip I did was from San Manuel Indian Bingo Hall (that's what it was called back when I worked there!) in Highland to Lake Perris and then back to the Hall. Never realized the incline of San Berdo to Highland until I rode it on a bicycle after I was already tired from the ride! :-) Good times and memories! Did it with a good friend back then...Dina Murphy...miss her! :-(
