Beautified Life: Thanksgiving 2008

Every year I write in my journal a list of the things I’m thankful for and this year blog cronies, I thought I’d share it with ya… and feel free to share yours with me too!

• My God, my Jesus – without whom I am NOTHING.  I owe it all to my Jesus who knew me before the foundation of the earth and who gave me a purpose before I even knew Him.  Who sticks by me through thick and thin and has promised me that He will never leave me or forsake me.  Who is my rock, who strengthens me when I am weak, who gently convicts me when I’m bad, yet loves me beyond words.  Truly He IS my all in all.

Matt, my beloved husband – my soul mate, the best daddy to my girls, my business consultant, my hugest supporter (in more ways than one), my leader, my best friend, and love of my life.  Just the other day I was having a conversation with a friend who’ll be marrying soon (yayah!) and I was telling her that although my marriage of 20 years is not by any means perfect, God has provided the perfect man for me– the one thing I highly admire about Matt is that his heart’s desire is always about doing the “right thing“, ALWAYS.  May I brag a little about him here my blog friends? Okay, thanks… The fact that although Matt may not be the most sophisticated, savvy, business man, I have never seen him cut corners.  He does his best to deliver excellent customer service and products– and loopholes and allowances that’s allowed, he will not take if it doesn’t feel right to him.  Once I asked him why that was and his reply, “I like to be able to sleep at night”. Yes, some may view him as unsophisticated, I see him as my hero… even though he never reads my blogs LOL.

• My girls, Kat n’ Kay – what can I say?  They have brought joy and life to this family.  As I watch them grow I see God’s ultra fabulous love for me, giving me such precious gifts.  Yes, the little gifts aren’t always wrapped in pretty ribbons and paper, but I would not trade them for the world.  And they read my blog!!

• To all the photographers who’ve shared with me along the way, giving me their ear and answered my myriad of questions. To those who’ve given me the chance to shoot weddings with them to gain more experience– this year alone I shot with 10 different photographers and I’m thankful to each and every single one of them! Too many togs to mention who’ve helped me along the way, you know who you are… your gracious giving and inspiration are highly valued and appreciated!

• To all my clients whom I do not view as “customers” but friends. Thank you for allowing me to document such an important milestone in your lives, you are all a blessing to me and hope that I have returned the blessing to you as well.

• To my blog cronies who comments and even those who don’t but lets me know that they visit often. Thank you for all the encouragement. Oh and I can’t forget my young blog friends who visits often… you keep me on my toes, helping me keep my blog clean.

So much more I can list but I better stop here, I have tofurkey to get in the oven! May you all have a blessed and beutified Thanksgiving! Much Love! -row
