The day I took these pictures I was honestly feeling spent from a wedding I shot the day before and felt the “creative juices” in choppy water instead of flowing. In general I wouldn’t have scheduled a shoot a day after a wedding but we both had busy schedules and this was the only weekend day we had before their wedding (this coming Sunday). Collie and I have only talked a couple of times but I could sense that she was the type of gal that could be daring and therefore might do some things that are unconventional– I wanted to take advantage of that but honestly I was just exhausted to think.
Anyhoo, both Chris and Collie are so photogenic and easy to take pictures of that it didn’t take long for inspiration to hit. Yayah! After the first click I couldn’t stop… they are so natural together and so in sync that all I had to do was suggest an idea and there they went! Before long I forgot about my exhaustion and got lost in the moment. Thank you Collie and Chris, I really had a blast with you guys, hope I didn’t tire you out too much!
