My first photo post– an engagement session! Technically, this isn’t really an engagement session since we just got together briefly to meet before their big day which will take place in a couple of weeks. Alvin booked me through e-mail and not having met either one of them in person, I was happy to hear that they were going to be in town last week and wanted to get together. Wanting to get an idea of how they photograph and visa versa (for them to get an idea of how I shoot), I brought along my camera for a quick photo shoot. By the way, I will post an engagement tip sheet soon which gives you an idea of the importance of an engagement session. The tips includes suggestions on where to have the session, what to wear, etc.
We met at the Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. Other photographer friends have told me in the past that they’ve been asked to not take pictures there so as we walked around acting like shoppers, we periodically stopped, shoot quickly, and move on. Alvin and Cheryl were such good sports about it– thanks guys! I’m so looking forward to their special day… not only are these two the sweetest couple, they are uber cute to boot!
